BRYNEGLWYS, THE NEW CHAPEL - About fifteen years ago the Calvinistic Methodists built a large chapel in this place. They now intend to pull it down, and build a splendid structure in the new style of architecture, and we understand that over £600 has already been promised, Mr Michael Thomas, a deacon, giving as much as £160! The total cost will be about £1,200. Mr. Owen, of Breck-road, Liverpool, is to be the architect. [Llangollen Advertiser 21 February 1873 page 2]
