Built on a site opposite Buile Hill, in a highly exclusive residential district, this house was Tattersall's first commission. [Colvin]. It was later purchased by members of the Heywood family and confusingly renamed “Claremont.” In the 1950s it was demolished for the building of Salford Grammar School (also demolished)
