Christ Church Blackpool

BLACKPOOL - Arrangements are in progress for replacing the temporary iron edifice for Christ Church with a permanent and more ecclesiastical structure. The new building is to occupy a site at the corner of Parker-street and Queen-street, near the existing parsonage. The accommodation will be for about 1,000 persons. The architect who has been appointed to carry out the work is Mr. J. M. Taylor, of Manchester. [Builder 21 November 1863 page 832].
