Mr. Truefitt shows, in a capital photograph, a monument lately erected by him at St. Clement's Church, Worcester. It is somewhat Lombardic in character. A block of stone, bearing a long inscription, is carried on two corbels. On either side is a black marble column, with well- designed capitals, from which springs a plain stone arch, surmounted by a low gabled coping. In the arch is an angle, and underneath, between the columns, is a large open Bible. This latter is the most objectionable feature in the design, which is otherwise happily conceived, both in its general proportion and detail. [Building News 18 August 1859 page 255].
