Church of St George, Llandudno
ST. GEORGE’S CHURCH LLANDUDNO - The Church is in the Gothic style, in the form of a cross, having a north and south transept; it has 63 pews or about 500 sittings, 300 of which are free. The architect is Mr. John Welch. The site is the gift of Lady Mostyn Champneys and the Hon. E. M. Lloyd Mostyn, in addition to which munificent gift her ladyship most handsomely presented the parishioners with a complete set of communion service of solid silver, and also the furniture complete for the altar, pulpit, and reading desk. …. Attached to the Church-yard is the new residence for its Minister, the site of which is also the gift of the same liberal individuals. Llandudno so lung without a residence for its Minister, and so long with its church situated in a most inconvenient place, is now, it may be said, become one of the most completed and convenient places in this respect.
