Church of St. Paul, Westleigh Road, Pickley Green, Westleigh, Leigh Lancashire

Consecrated in 1847, this new church replaced a chapel of ease to St Mary, Leigh, the parish church. Built of stone, it comprises chancel nave, south aisle, south porch and a still unfinished tower containing one bell at the east end of the south aisle. The organ is by the Pendlebury Organ Works of Leigh, Thomas Pendlebury, the founder of the firm being buried in the churchyard.
