SALFORD TOWN COUNCIL - A special meeting the Town Council was held on Wednesday morning, the mayor, (Mr. Alderman Robinson) presiding. On the recommendation of the general watch committee the tender of Messrs. Knight and Woolley, Salford, for the erection of a new police station adjoining the cattle market in Cross Lane, at a cost of £693, was accepted.
