ST CLEMENT'S ORDSAL, SALFORD - Plans have prepared by Mr. Henry Lord, architect, of this city, for the erection in Smith Street, Ordsal Lane, of extensive day and Sunday schools. at a cost of between £4,000 and £5,000, in connection with the recently-erected church of St. Clement's, Ordsal, Salford. The structure, which will be of simple Gothic architecture, will comprise a largo mixed Infants' schoolroom, teachers' room, babies' room and classrooms on the ground floor, with mixed schoolroom and classrooms on the upper floor. From this report It would appear that this school was originally named St Clement’s, but later renamed St Cyprian’s with the construction of a new church adjacent to Ordsall Hall in the 1890s
