This house is about to be erected on an eminence overlooking a very lovely part of Cheshire with a view bounded by the Welsh hills. The plan has been specifically adapted to the site, all the entertaining rooms being placed on the South-West front to get the full benefit of the sun and the beautiful view. The ground falls rapidly from the house; advantage has been taken of this to form a terrace all the way round the SW front. On the South-East side is a deep dingle, full of old well-grown trees, bracken and shrubs which will readily be converted into a most beautiful wild garden. The architects are Messrs Goldsmith & Son of 63 Faulkner-street, Manchester and Odstone Bowdon (sic) Cheshire.
