Erection of Seven Houses, Bright Street, Darwen

Mr. J. B. Thornley, architect, of Market Street, is preparing plans for Messrs. T. and R. Lightbown, for the erection of 7 houses in Bright Street. The architect has introduced several new features in the plans and if the houses, which will be of a middle-class character, are built according to the design. they will, when completed, be very convenient and compact. They will be provided with hot and cold water, and the bath arrangements in the room over the pantry at the back on the chamber floor are both compact and complete.
