Footbridge over Bridgewater Canal Worsley (atrib)
In 1906 the Third Earl of Ellesmere’s agent Henry Hart Davies requested estimates from Douglas and Minshull for a new footbridge over the Bridgwater Canal. Thus, the footbridge is probably to the designs of Douglas and Minshull.
However, the date of construction varies - 1901 given in the Listing text appears incorrect. Pevsner states about 1907 which accords with the OS maps.
