Situated at the junction of Barlow Moor Road and Burton Road, West Didsbury, the church is of red brick. Corner bell tower with a modest spire and slate roof. Sunday schools behind. The church was opened on 4th February, 1883 and extended in 1891. It was a member of Manchester (Oxford Road) Wesleyan Circuit and the successor Manchester (Withington) Methodist Circuit. The church closed in 1965, the closing services taking place on 3 October 1965. Converted to a mosque 1965, opened 1968.
