Built as a warehouse for the Dunlop Rubber Company tyre making plant. Seven storeys high and built of Accrington brick with artificial stone dressings. Based on a steel frame encased in concrete, the pattern of fenestration and detailing of the staircase tower (two were planned) resemble his cotton mills
