NEW CINEMA, WYTHENSHAWE. September has been fixed as the positive opening date for the Forum super-cinema, which is going up in Sale Road, and the builders are already busy with the external brickwork. The cinema will hold 2,000 people and will have a café holding 200. Its equipment is to be of the most approved modern type including a giant Wurlitzer organ Holoaphane coloured lighting and the Western Electric wide screen.
