THE CHORLEY WORKHOUSE.—The Chorley Board of Guardians, Tuesday, received "official” intelligence of the death of Mr, Leigh Hall, their architect; and a letter was read from Mr. J. J Bradshaw, whom Mr. Hall had recently taken into partnership, offering his services, but the guardians decided to have consultation with Mr. Bradshaw before finally agreeing to do so.
