Fountain Mill Stampstone Street Oldham

The original mill, built in 1821-4 by Gould & Cooper, was extended in 1872 and 1875. Woodhouse & Potts were responsible for the design of the 1872 extension for Richard Shiers & Brother. Production ceased in 1934 and the building was used for storage. Destroyed by fire on 27 January 1954.
