Originally built as a Girls Social Club the building later became a resident’s club before conversion to a Visitors’ Centre and Museum. Occupying a roughly triangular site at the junction of King George’s Road and Windy Bank. Two floors and gabled attic storey. Red tile roof. Symmetrical projecting central block of stone and roughcast with double height bay windows each side of a central door. Flank wing to the  left incorporates half-timber first floor above rough-cast ground floor with stone dressings; that to the right of rough-cast and stone dressings with chamfered corner.  The two adjacent houses are also included in the listing
