Glyn Garth Llandegfan Anglesey

The marine villa of Mr Silas Schwabe on the Anglesey side of the Menai Strait (originally built by Mr Hugh Beaver, but purchased and very greatly enlarged by Mr Schwabe from designs and under the superintendence of Mr J E Gregan, architect) has not a little resemblance to one of the Rhine castles; - it is quite an assemblage of stone towers and turrets, with gravelled terraces next to the water.
