FOR SALE by Mr. CAPES, on Monday the 4th day or September, 1837. at the Star Hotel, Manchester

All that capital and substantially-built MANSION called Gore Hill, freehold of inheritance, with the outbuildings thereto belonging, situate at Pendleton, within two miles from the Manchester Exchange, late the residence of John Wadkin. Esquire, deceased, and occupied by Mrs Wadkin; together with a large PLOT of LAND, now used as pleasure grounds, with the trees and shrubs growing thereon, and partly enclosed with a brick fence. The land (including the site of the buildings, and half of an intended new street, of 12 yards wide, leading to the priory) contains in the whole 10,158 4/9 superficial square yards or thereabouts and is subject only to the very moderate chief rent of £7.
