Hanover Methodist Church, was built in 1897-1898 and replaced an older chapel of 1862. Located on Old Hall Street it closed in the 1960s and after remaining vacant for several years it was taken over by a plumber's merchant. The foundation stone was laid on 27 November 1897 by Mrs Wiliam Dickinson.
