Hethrington’s Private Dining Rooms, Pollard Street/Boond Street, Manchester

Private dining rooms for the directors of the company and the entertaining of clients. The dining room occupied the raised ground floor above a semi-basement. The top storey was a flat for the caretaker but the use of the first floor was not indicated on the plans. A hoist served all floors. Four bays cast iron columns and steel(?) beams. Stott and Sons did other work at Vulcan Works including the west block to Pollard Street.
