The rebuilding of an ancient corn mill converted to cotton manufacture in the eighteenth century. A serious fire in 1869 necessitated its rebuilding. Following another fire in 1881 the mill was again rebuilt. Ceased production in 1941 and demolished soon afterwards. (Gurr & Hunt ascribe to Wild & Collins, not John Wild)
