House and Stables, Formby

HOUSE AND STABLES AT FORMBY - This house, designed by Messrs. Bell and Roper and about to be built at Formby, near Liverpool, is to be constructed of red bricks, and the whole of the upper portion and roofs covered with red tiles. The same architects have laid out this estate for building purposes recently, constructed the necessary roads and esplanade, etc. [The Architect 25 January 1879 page 53 and illustration]
