HOUSE AT BOWDON, CHESHIRE - It is proposed to face this house with a cream-coloured facing brick, with Ruabon tile covering and tile hanging. The hall is to he panelled to a height of 7 feet, with oak wainscoting, and the walls above are to be treated with half-timbering in oak. The floors are to be laid with parqueting in hard woods, and the whole of the glazing is to be in lead lights of a quaint pattern. Mr. Frank W. Mee, F.R.I.B.A., of Manchester, is the architect.  [Building News 28 August 1896 page 299]
