House at Promenade Fairhaven Lytham for Mr J B Lugh

This house, recently completed in accordance with the plans of Mr Herbert Wade of Blackpool by Messrs Scott & Fenton of Manchester is situated on the Promenade with beautiful views across the sea and estuary of the River Ribble. The exterior has been faced with Mr Edward’s wire-cut bricks with Warley Dale stone dressings, the roofs being covered with dark Brossley tiles. Iron casements are filled with lead lights, large cames having been used throughout. Grates and mantles by Warings. (the end of the rear wing forms the servant’s bedroom - see illustration)
