Plans signed Peter Pons, architect, Manchester. Exact location not known but almost certainly demolished. (information from D Hilton)

Note - The present Oxford Street extends from St. Peter’s Square to the River Medlock, thence it becomes Oxford Road. By 1885 Oxford Street was part of the central commercial/theatre district of Manchester and therefore an improbable location for this development. However, reference is made in some Directories of the period to Oxford street, Chorlton-on-Medlock, a more probable location.
