FOUNDATION STONE LAYING AT FARNWORTH. On Saturday afternoon the foundation stone of new schools in connection with the Independent Methodists, of Farnworth was laid. …. The new building will occupy a plot of land leased from Dr Anderton; it will be plain in style, of brick, and its dimensions 14 yards long by 11 yards wide. The place is to be temporarily used for religious services well as a Sunday school, and is intended to accommodate about 250 persons at public worship, and about 300 children at school.
