Built for the King Spinning Co Ltd, with the winding room being extended in 1898. An additional storey was added in 1900 and further extensions made in 1903 and 1937. The mill ceased production in 1959 and was in multiple occupation until demolition in 1982. Spindleage (1915) 75,036 mule and 27504 ring spindle, Platts. Engine George Saxon 1500 hp.

NEW MILL - J. and S. Smethurst, contractors, Grimbies Brickworks, have got the whole of the contract for the erection o! the cotton mill at Luzley Brook, belonging to the King Spinning Company Limited. Messrs. Wild Collins and Wild have staked out the land and operations have already commenced. A determined effort is to be made to have the mill completed before the close of 1897.
