Manchester Jubilee Exhibition - Fire grate to Council Chamber

Of wrought iron copper and brass with wood carving by Kendal Milne & Co. The British Architect noted “The outline of the council chamber fire grate is noteworthy, and the workmanship of the whole shows much skill; whilst the combination of brass and copper plates in the hood frame produces a good colour effect.”
