On Saturday the foundation stone of a new Methodist day and Sunday schools were laid at Accrington Road, Burnley, by Miss Barnes of Spring Hill who has generously given the land for the building. The erection is from designs by Mr Waddington, architect, Burley. It will accommodate 450 day scholars and 500 Sunday scholars and is estimated to cost over £2,000 exclusive of the land.
