Mission Church Burton Road Withington

The erection of the new Mission Church in Burton Road, Barlow Moor, Didsbury, in connection with Emmanuel Church, Barlow Moor Lane, has just been commenced, and is expected to be ready by the end of July. The structure is of domestic Gothic design from the drawings of Mr Henry Lord, architect of this city, when complete provision will be made for 250 sittings. [Manchester Guardian 19 May 1881 page 6]
