Nercwys Methodist Chapel was built in 1828 and rebuilt in 1875. The present chapel, dated 1875, was designed by architect Richard Owens of Liverpool and built in the Sub-Classical style with a long-wall entry by its gable-end. This end facade has a recessed "Venetian" window with key-stones, moulded hood and impost bands. RCAHMW, January 2010
