New Branch Bank Market Street, Farnworth for the Bank of Bolton
A new branch bank of the Bank of Bolton has just been erected on land facing Market-street and close to the old bank, the size of which necessitated the building of the new one. Mr George Woodhouse of Bolton was the architect. The contractors were: stonework, J Dickinson of Bolton; brickwork, Lewis Brown; carpentry, joinery and internal fittings, J C Marsden & Sons, Bolton; tiling, Maw & Company, Broseley; warming of the telling room, W Wilson & Company (Manchester) patent fire grates.
