New Branch Bank Market Street, Farnworth for the Bank of Bolton

A new branch bank of the Bank of Bolton has just been erected on land facing Market-street and close to the old bank, the size of which necessitated the building of the new one. Mr George Woodhouse of Bolton was the architect. The contractors were: stonework, J Dickinson of Bolton; brickwork, Lewis Brown; carpentry, joinery and internal fittings, J C Marsden & Sons, Bolton; tiling, Maw & Company, Broseley; warming of the telling room, W Wilson & Company (Manchester) patent fire grates.

BANK OF BOLTON —FARNWORTH BRANCH —TO BUILDERS—Persons desirous of contracting for the ERECTION of NEW PREMISES at Farnworth are informed that the drawings and specifications may be seen at my offices on Thursday, June 1st, Thursday, the 8th.
