Palace Theatre, 1, Great George Street, Rochdale

Opened on 4 December 1911 as the Palace Theatre. By 1922 it had been re-named the Palace Picture House operated by the Northern Cinema chain with seating for 1,200; about 1930 it became the Palace Tudor Super Cinema which finally closed in November 1981. Converted into a nightclub but was demolished after a fire in April 1987.
