Pansy Cotton Spinning Mill, Billinge, Wigan

NEW COTTON SPINNING MILL FOR WIGAN - A company has been registered called the Pansy Spinning Company, with a capital of £100,000. It is the intention of the promoters to put up two factories at Wigan, but only one will be proceed with at present. The architects are Messrs. Stott and Sons. The first directors are Mr. A. Marsden, of Orrell, near Wigan, and Mr J J Lee and Mr. W. G. Isherwood, of Manchester. Their remuneration is to be £60 each per annum.
