“Park Gate,”, Highgate Road, Dunham Massey

Built on a one acre site, obtained by Cuffley in 1858. The partially completed house was transferred to Edward Philippi, a twist merchant in 1859 although the financial arrangements are unclear. Philippi and Cuffley appear to have agreed some form of mortgage or rental repayment.  By 1871 Joseph Cocksey Lee, brother of Henry Lee and a director of Tootal Broadhurst Lee occupied the house.  House now modernised.
