Plaza Ballroom, 29 Oxford Street, Manchester
In 1924 Philip Frankenburg established a “Billiards Lounge” at the junction of Oxford Street and St James Street. In 1927 plans were approved for conversion of (part of) the billiard hall into a ballroom.
