NEW POLICE STATION, CRUMPSALL - Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Division of Manchester INVITE TENDERS for the ERECTION of the above STATION, Plans can be seen and a copy of the quantities obtained on or after Monday, August 24, on application to W. The police station closed in the late 1920s and was offered for Sale by Auction in March 1930. Later OS maps suggest that it was divided into two.

 

No 2 Clarendon Road, Crumpsall at the corner of Dobroyd Street. Site 482 5-9 square yards or thereabouts. Freehold. Chief rent £11 18s. The Premises could be readily converted into two houses. or used for Club or Institutional purposes. [Manchester Guardian 1 March 1930 page 26]
