NEW PREMISES TOR THE MIDDLETON CORPORATION FOR POST OFFICE AND TENEMENT OFFICES This building is being carried out from the designs of Messrs. Stones and Stones, architects, Richmond Terrace, Blackburn, and North John Street, Liverpool. It is intended to provide on the ground floor the post office for Middleton, and on the upper floors will be offices for letting. Part of these will probably be occupied by the Corporation officials. NEW POST OFFICE MIDDLETON - To Builders and Contractors – tenders are invited for the erection of the new Post Office and Tenement Offices in Long Street and Sadler Street, Middleton. Specifications and quantities have been prepared by Messrs Stones and Stones, architects and surveyors, 10 Richmond Terrace, Blackburn, and copies of these may be obtained and drawings may be inspected at the Town Clerk’s office, Middleton on or after Tuesday 30 December 1902.
