Post Office, Chapel Street, Caernarfon
CARNARVON. AT LAST SETTLED - The Post-office authorities in St. Martin's-le-Grand have, at last, finally settled with Mr. Morgan Lloyd, Plas Maesincla, to erect new Post-office buildings at the entrance to Chapel-street (Tre'rgo'). The present archway will disappear, and a free access of light and air will be made to Chapel-street. The proposed new buildings will afford greater facilities for the transaction of business without the usual crush now so prominent at the present offices. This will be a great advantage to the public and the Post-office employees. The architect is Mr. Richard Owen, Breck-road, Liverpool, and the contractor Mr. R. R. Williams, Bank-quay, Carnarvon.
