Primitive Methodist Chapel and School, Swinton

CHAPEL AND SCHOOL, SWINTON - The school has just been finished, and the chapel is rapidly approaching completion. The buildings are faced throughout with red stock bricks and terra cotta. The chapel will contain 300 sittings, and the school will accommodate over 400 scholars. The sole contract for the whole of the work has been let to Messrs. J. Gerrard and Sons, of Swinton, for the sum of £2,470, including boundary walls, etc. [British Architect 5 February 1886 page 129]
