A site at the north end of the town, near the railway station and with uninterrupted views of the sea had been provisionally obtained according to the abridged prospectus details published. Edward Walters was named as the company architect. However, it appears that the scheme was not progressed. This company should not be confused with the Blackpool Land Building & Hotel Company for which Clegg & Knowles designed the Imperial Hotel.
