Public Baths, un-named road off Siliwen Road, Garth Point, Bangor
PUBLIC BATHS AT GARTH P0INT - We are happy to hear that this much wished establishment is about being carried into immediate execution under the superintendence of Mr. John Welsh architect, of Holywell. It is expected that hot and cold water baths will be ready for accommodation towards the middle of the ensuing summer, so that visitors will not another season be under the necessity of leaving this picturesque City for the want of this indispensable convenience. The appearance of the proposed Baths from the water will be very imposing, forming a colonnade of almost one hundred and forty feet in length executed in white limestone. The interior arrangement is composed of plunging, warm, vapour and shower baths with comfortable dressing rooms to each. [North Wales Chronicle - Tuesday 28 November 1837 page 3]
