Rathbone Memorial Cross, St Tegfan's Church, Llandegfan, Anglesey

That Mr Harold Hughes will doubtless work upon the designs of that beautiful Celtic cross which, from his drawings, marks in Llandegfan churchyard the last resting place of a worthy man - Mr Richard Reynolds Rathbone - a cousin of one who did much for education in North Wales. Inscription - In loving/ memory of RICHARD REYNOLDS RATHBONE of Glan y Menai, Born 19th April 1820 Died 12th June 1898.    "I hope to see my pilot face to face when I have crost the bar" Opposite face:  Also in loving memory of FRANCES SUSANNAH, widow of Richard Reynolds Rathbone and daughter of Hugh Roberts of Glan y Menai. Born Jan 29th 1822. Died Feb 26th 1907.
