THE INDEPENDENT CHAPEL LLANGOLLEN - This is an era of building new and renovating old chapels and churches. Let us hope that the glory of the Lord will soon fill the beautiful and commodious places erected all over the land to celebrate divine worship. Our friends at Glan'rafon have commenced making some important alterations on their" Tabernacle" since Monday last. The congregation intend to hold their Sunday School at the Board Schoolroom, and join the friends at Zion. the Wesleyan Chapel, on Sundays. The architect is Mr. Richard Owen, Breck Road, Liverpool. and the contractor, Mr. Joseph Roberts, builder, Llangollen. As the alterations are not on a very large scale, it will take but a few weeks to complete the work. [Llangollen Advertiser 12 September 1873 page 2]
