Restoration: Belton Church, Lincolnshire

BELTON CHURCH, LINCOLNSHIRE—The adjoining parish to Epworth where John Wesley was born, has just been re-opened after having undergone a partial restoration by the placing new roofs to the nave and aisles, together with sundry other repairs under Mr Withers, architect. This work has been undertaken by the churchwardens from the proceeds of a Church-rate formally voted at a vestry meeting, [Church Times, London 12 September 1863 page 253].
