New build

This church was re-opened yesterday after being renovated and beautified at a cost of £1,300. The alterations comprise new windows of coloured glass in geometric designs by Messrs Edmundson and Son of Oxford Road, Manchester, the fine organ enlarged, cleaned and repaired, and choir seats reconstructed; and the whole of the edifice repainted and beautified in harmony with the classic style of the building. The work has been carried out under the superintendence of Mr T H Allen, architect, of Stockport.
