“Robin Hood Hotel” Manchester Road Clifton

The proposed rebuilding on the bowling green and land adjoining the existing hotel was noted by the Builder on Page 80 where the Client was recorded as Joseph Holt Brewery and the address as Clifton. Six pages later the same building is apparently noted under Pendlebury where the owners are given as Peter Walker & Son, Warrington & Burton Ltd Empress Brewery Chester Road Manchester and the contractors the appropriately named Brew Brothers.
