New schools are about to be built at Great Harwood near Blackburn in connection with the Methodist Free Church. The building will be used for day and Sunday school purposes, to accommodate 1000 scholars and will consist of a large school-room with seven classrooms adjacent thereto and an infants’ school for 150 infants. Messrs Maxwell Tuke and Hurst of Southport are the architects.
