Irregular building in Gothic taste. Two storey with an attic to the left of two cross‑gabled wings flanking a central section with a half‑octagonal tower in the left angle, ground floor pentice and projecting open porch at right. Cream brick with quoins and dressing of red brick and stone. High pitched roofs banded in plain and fishscale tiles; and a short spire to the tower echoing the angle porch tower of the church. Varied windows, some cusped lancets and some with tracery, some in segment‑headed panels. Projecting front attic bay is corbelled out and has a gable. Tall brick chimneys add interest to the skyline. Polychrome brickwork and fancy tile hanging vary the surface. One‑storey left extensions in same style. Said to contain good interior features.(Description attached to Schedule of Listing)
